Suggestions for Beginners (Hiking and Trekking Tours)

Hiking tours do not require special equipment or extensive preparation. They offer tourists the opportunity to enjoy nature, provide emotional relaxation, and are excellent for building fitness. Hiking tours can be combined with other activities such as exploring caves, canyons, free climbing, and more.

To regulate body temperature properly during walking, it’s best to wear multiple thin layers of clothing that can be added or removed as needed. Lightweight synthetic windbreakers are the best protection against wind and moisture.

For longer hikes in higher mountains, hikers should always carry spare clothing in both summer and winter, as weather changes are frequent. Hiking clothes should also be practical, allowing for comfortable walking and unrestricted movement.

Hiking boots should be made of soft, waterproof leather with thick soles made of deeply grooved elastic rubber. Such soles (vibram) are practical for climbing rocky, grassy, and snowy terrains. Boots should be high enough to protect the ankle joint.

Beginners should carry as few items as possible. Long trousers and a backpack are recommended. For longer tours, bring spare clothing stored in plastic bags to keep it separate from food and other items (flashlights, matches, cosmetics, maps, etc.). It is essential to carry water and only a small amount of food.
