Guided Cloud Gazing

Welcome to your Guided Cloud Gazing experience with Visit Dark Skies!

Tourist Center Vučje seeks to enrich your stay by taking you on a journey up in the clouds … when you’re ready and when there are some of these beautiful structures visible in the sky.

Take half an hour. Lay on your back at our suggested location and listen to the audio file while you gaze toward the sky on a blue day with some clouds or even a cloudier day with some variations.

How it works

• Dress comfortably, keeping in mind it can be chillier on the ground than in the air.
• Find a spot with the sun at your back or your side, and get comfy. We can provide our on-property recommendation.
• Read the section below for a preview of what you’ll see and experience.
• Play the audio file (31 minutes) when you are comfortable. The MP3 file will play in your browser or you can download it to your device.
• Don’t look at your smartphone after the start to keep your concentration on this immersion into the clouds.

What you’ll see and experience

• Part 1 – Cloud types and start of the water cycle

• Part 2 – From molecule to droplet: how clouds are forming

• Part 3 – Up in the sky – winds and water

• Part 4 – Experiencing change

• Part 5 – Descending again

In between, you will be invited to perceive colors, figures, changes of clouds and dream yourself away into the sky with piano and electronic sounds.

In the end, the audio experience gently fades out, and you can just keep looking at the sky. The time is yours.

Enjoy the view of the clouds and relax as you experience the immense changes in the sky in half an hour. You’ll be reminded of how you are a part of the natural cycle and how changes is happening constantly, even if not visible at first sight.
